Tussey Mountain
The Tussey Mountain Ski Resort & Family Fun Center is located within walking distance of the cabins. Tussey is loaded with activities for year-round enjoyment offering skiing in the winter months and golf, go-karts, mini-golf, summer camps and batting cages in the summer months. Tussy Mountain has a particular special place in our hearts as it was built by my father, Tom Aikens in the early 60’s. Originally called Ski Mont, it was later sold to become the current Tussey Mountain in 1981.
RothRock
Nestled adjacent to Rothrock State Forest, Aiken’s Cabin guests will have direct access to 215,500 acres of natural State Forest lands at their doorstep. Rothrock state forest is considered a premier Mountain biking destination in PA and is the venue for multiple mountain biking races including the many Seasons of Rothrock events, The Rockrock Gritt Gravel Grinder and the Trans-Sylvania Gravel Epic.
Penn State
Close to State College PA, Aikens Cabins are conveniently located close to all area events on the campus of Penn State University including the Bryce Jordan Center concert venue.
Raystown Lake
The Raystown Lake Region of Pennsylvania offers many recreational opportunities including fishing, boating, mountain biking and a water sports.
